Let me back up - my oldest had a flu the other day and she threw up twice. Thank goodness no one else got it! Now the little one has a cold but I can handle this MUCH easier.
Today my inlaws came over and everything was going great until my littlest started playing with my FIL's phone. I hate this! Phones are so germy! Of course since she is sick she immediately put her hands on her eyes and in her mouth - I almost lost it! I am going ton enforce a "no playing with other people's phones" rule. If they want to wipe it off first, fine but I am definitely making it a rule! I just pray the kids don't get sick from this - my FIL never cleans it I'm sure! My MIL cleaned her phone AFTER the kids played with it. A lot of good it does my kids! I wonder when the last time she cleaned it was and she's been all over the place this holiday season - eew!!! Fingers crossed nothing happens to my kids. I keep reading about this nasty stomach bug going around and I want it to stay out of my house!!! Hopefully it will. I'm afraid to take my girls to dance class because of it too.... we'll see how that goes...
I'm nervous about taking both of my girls to the youngest's well-check on Thursday.... I hate bringing them both because I don't want them to touch anything and it's so hard when I have them both! I also hope the little one is not sick anymore so she can have her immunization (I don't want her to have it if she is sick) because I don't want to have to drag them both back there! I will update on this on Thursday.
Lastly J is headed back to work on Thursday and is now working with other people at least throughout the cold/flu season. I just want us all to be healthy through it - we can do this right? Yes we can! Updates on that too!
Stressful isn't it? I always worry about the kids touching things because they are dirty so I'm going to try to clean/sanitize more so when they do touch things (like doorknobs) I don't have to panic right away. Maybe this will help a little, at least while at home. I just hate cleaning (weird i know being a germ-a-phobic) but I just always avoided touching things instead of making sure things were "clean".
